Connectivity Solutions

Inter-Branch Connectivity

We offer organizations inter-branch connectivity through our multi-service switching platform. Customers can build their own customized Wide Area Network (WAN) on this Network The network provided by this service supports multiple applications (video, data and voice) over a common infrastructure to meet all data communication and multimedia requirements.

This service allows for the creation of virtual networks, enabling our customers to differentiate their service offerings and enhance client network security.

The connectivity offers highly scalable Frame Relay or Ethernet speeds per interface. Multiple point-to-point logical circuits with varying Classes of Service can be provisioned over a single interface, which can increase efficiency and economies of scale.

Value Added Services from providers like ISP’s may be integrated onto this network. We have wide network coverage to ensure this service is available wherever and whenever you need it. The service is terrain independent and can be provisioned even in remote locations.

Client-ISP Connectivity

This service offers a link between the client and their Service Provider (ISP). This service offers highly scalable Ethernet or Frame Relay speeds per interface. It offers faster, higher capacity and more reliable linkage than its predecessor, copper. The connectivity offered fully supports multiple applications (video, data and voice) over a common infrastructure to provide total data communication and multimedia needs.

We have wide network coverage to ensure this service is available wherever and whenever you need it. The service is terrain independent and can be provisioned even in remote locations.

Telehouse

The Telehouse meets all the stringent environmental and security requirements for housing telecommunications equipment. We provide each of our customers with their own secure cage inside which they can place one or more standard computer racks to house their telecommunication equipment (servers, routers.) Access to the cage is controlled by the customer and we can integrate it to our access control system on request.

The Telehouse facility offers three major services:

  • Remote Data Center Facility
  • Disaster Recovery (Database Back-up Center)
  • Peering Interconnectivity

These services are bundled with an absolutely free digital leased line from the cage back to the customer’s corporate IT data center.

Remote Data Center Facility

This service is aimed at clients in search for space to house their IT facility while meeting all the stringent environmental and security requirements. We offer space at the telehouse where a client can place their servers and other telecommunications equipment in a secure cage. This takes the complications of establishing and maintaining a local data center off the client who is better able to concentrate on their core business.

Disaster Recovery (Database Back-up Center)

In a world full of risks and businesses, which depend strategically on IT for their operations, it is imperative that they continue to run despite a wide range of events from system failure to natural disaster. This service is geared towards meeting this very need reliably and cost effectively. In addition to the client local data center, this remote facility may provide reliable disaster recovery mechanism. The service is carrier neutral but we offer free connectivity from the telehouse back to the client local data center.

Peering Interconnectivity

The Telehouse provides a neutral, high security and reliable location from which you can interconnect to any one of the carriers or service providers operating in Kenya.
